Animal/Pet Nails for November N.A.I.L Challenge - #NailLinkUp

Hello beauties.
On the blog today is my third nail art for the November Nail Challenge I'm partaking in.
The theme for our third mani for #NailLinkUp is Animals and pets.
I settled on my go to animal print - leopard design for this challenge.

I chose to use colors and had fun doing this simple and easy DIY nails that I now realize was inspired by ThatIgboChick. My brain must have saved this color template/design.
My result?
Look below.

I started with Sinful Colors - Blue By you, and I used China Glaze - Glistening Snow on my ring finger as an accent nail.

I then used kleancolor Black and a doting tool to create the leopard skin pattern, and I place random blue dots along side of some of the black patterns.

This was simple to do and yet, adds so much WOW-Ness to this gorgeous blue polish by Sinful Colors.

Glistening Snow is slowly becoming my go-to polish for accent nails. I love the silver holo goodness.

And that's it for now darlings.
What do y'all think?

Nail Art with a Bunchaaa Zoya Nail Polishes!

Hello Gorgeous!
On the blog today is a nail art I did with all Zoya Nail Polishes, and I'm so HAPPY with out it  turned out!
I only used three zoya polishes for this, but I couldn't think of another title for this post. Lol...

I swatched the entire Winter/Holiday Collection by Zoya and posted about them earlier this week.
Today's nail art was done with one of the polishes in that collection.

Zoya - Mosheen was layered over Zoya - Raven.

I then decided to stamp some lines on it using Zoya - Purity. I have done all I could to find out which plate this image is from, but I couldn't.
I forgot to write it down when I did it.

Here's what the base looks like alone before stamping.

I like my result. Very much.

What do you think?

Sorry I couldn't find the stamping plate I used. I'll edit this post when I do.
That's it for now darlings.
Till Later, God Bless.

Movember Moustaches for November N.A.I.L Challenge - #NailLinkUp

Hello Loves,
Hope your day is going well so far.

On the blog now is my Second Post for the November N.A.I.L Challenge I'm partaking in.

The second on the list is Movember Moustaches  nails.
Wondering what the heck that means?  Well Movember is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of Men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and other male cancers; and associated charities - Wikipedia

So for this mani, I got to thinking and I decided I'd mix a girly color - PINK with Black and place a moustache somewhere on my nails.
Here's what I came up with. :-D

My base color was Elixir Lacquer - With a K.
I am in LOVE all over again with this polish. It's been hiding and now I want to wear it all the time.
My camera captured the awesomeness well. All of the holoness.

And I stamped the moustaches on with Kleancolor - black, which was also used as my accent nail.

The moustache image was from a stamping plate I got on ebay (if my memory serves me right). It's just called QA28
There were many more funky moustaches on it, but I chose a simple one.

I loved using a pink polish for this. Lol... I seriously wanted to use blue, but I thought, eh, why NOT!?

What do y'all think?

If you want to join this Challenge it's not too late, it's one of the most flexible Nail Art challenges I've seen.

..... But Why You So Bright....?

Hello Gorgeous!
Happy Monday. It's a new week!!!

Today I have an ootd I wore last Friday to a friend's birthday party - a birthday party which also turned out to be one of my very close friend's Proposal night! Her - now fiance - surprised her at the birthday with a proposal and it was a very wonderful event. I'm so happy for them and wish them all the best God has in store for them. Those of y'all on instagram saw my posts already and I'm so glad we have a wedding to plan....

So that was my outfit for the night to the birthday party I went. I was also the hired photographer for the night for the birthday, so I had my camera with me and got some lovely pictures of the proposal. :-D

Anyhoo, I posted about the nails I wore to this birthday party in THIS POST.
In that post I made mention of how I had to get dressed on time, lol... and yes, I got done on time, but I didn't have much time to spare for pictures, BUT that didn't stop me from taking a few pictures to show in this post. I didn't get to take lots of full pictures though... Shout out to the boyfriend for my full body pictures. :-D
P.S: I know you read my blog once in a while. Lol..

So, YES, I know it's Fall, but I can't stop wearing bright colors!
I tried to incorporate dark colors in my outfits, but it just doesn't work, so I stay with colors that express my inner joy.
Who makes all these color rules anyway? I'll be a rainbow if I want, in any weather I choose!
But I did throw a black thigh length jacket on this, so my colors were a bit diluted.

For my hair, I decided to style my diy box braids into this...
Was trying to focus my camera here.. lol..

My goal was to try and do a fish braid all the way with my braids, and then turn it to some kind of high bun, but that was a fail.
What I ended up with however still made me happy, so Boom!

Yes, I am well aware that my facial expressions is a bit stern. lol..
There was something about the lip color and the hair that JUST had me feeling "Vogue" and I couldn't for the life of me put a smile on my face. lol... I seriously HAD to shake it off and try to smile.

With the boyfriend holding the camera, my smile came naturally.

Since it was bit cold outside, I opted for tights that were a bit thick. I wanted to wear black tights, but since I had a black jacket I planned to wear most of the evening, I decided to wear bright tights.

My nails don't show well here, but you can see them better in THIS POST
And I wore my current favorites shoes. They are so comfy and they sit pretty on the wheelchair's footplate.

Felt quite AFROCENTRIC I must confess. Loved IT

What I'm wearing is a Shirt tucked into a Skirt.
The skirt was a dress/top (shown in the post), but I ripped out the top portion of it and turned it to a skirt so I can pair it with whatever Top I want. :-D
Easy DIY project. Wish I documented it.
I like it much better as a skirt.

That's it for now y'all.
Stay colorful this fall!!! :-D

Got a question? Ask in the comment box below.
Thanks for visiting, have a lovely day.
Till Later, God Bless.

Weekend Nails: Claire's - Candy Shop

Hello Love Muffins...

This post is being typed at a speed of light because I have to hurry and get dressed to go out. Lol..

I did my weekend nails and took some pictures and I was like, hey You can actually hurry up, crop these pictures and post them like right now before you go out. Show people what's on your nails right when it is Lizzy.

So I took heed to the voice in my head and here's this post right now.
This is what I have on my nails for today and possibly the whole weekend.
I've had this polish for almost a year now (if not more) and I think I only wore it once, if at all.
After organizing my stash and being on a #NoBuy this Month of November, I get to wear colors I haven't worn in a while. yay!

This is a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Candy Shop ( I know, same name)! lol..

Anyhoo... Enjoy darlings.

I used 3 coats and a seche Vite Top coat to even the glitters out.

This baby is jam-packed with lots of glitters. I love it! Looks like it's going to be a fun weekend. Lol.. My nails are already throwing a party!

Do tell, what do you have on your nails this weekend?
Got any plans?

P.S: I can't believe I edit and posted this in the short time it took. So I have it in me after all. Lol..
Till Later sugars.
God Bless.

Black Sheep Lacquer: Confused Canary & Rich Girl - Swatches and Review

Hello Lovebugs.
On the blog today is my review of two gorgeous polishes by Black Sheep Lacquer - an Indie Polish Company on Etsy.

Here are the two polishes I'll be reviewing today.

On the left is Rich Girl, and right is Confused Canary.

Here's the bottle shot of Confused Canary I teased you all with on Facebook and Instagram.
The Circle Yellow glitters are MY FAVE!

So it only makes sense that I show you what this beauty looks like on the nails.

Confused Canary is a glitter bomb topper that has black, white, yellow and pink glitters. Ranging in shape from Circle to bars, hexes, and square glitters.

The glitters all came out to play easily except for the yellow glitter - which I had to fish out.
I love the look of the glitter bomb over an off-white base. Used here is Color Gossip Lacquer - Shallow

I also layered this over a different base just to see what it'll look like.
Here it's layered over Zoya - Payton.

The Yellow glitters didn't come out on this, because I didn't both fishing for them.

I am not really a fan for fishing for glitters, but I can live with this.

Next, I Have swatches of Black Sheep Lacquer - Rich Girl.
This is also a glitter bomb! It's gold and comes in squares and tiny glitters.

I layered this over Black, Kleancolor - Black and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

The gold over black is just spectacular!

Like jewelry for your nails. Mama Like!!!

That's it for now y'all.
What do you guys think of these two polishes?

Till Later Darlings.
