Hair Review: Ideal Hair Arts - Brazilian Body Wave (Video Included)

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!!

I have a post that I've been sorta procrastinating on the blog right now.
I HAD to get it in today because well, I was wearing a Christmas hat in it and couldn't possibly feel right posting it after Christmas was over. lol...

This is my review of my current hairstyle achieved with hair from ideal hair arts on Aliexpress.
I got Brazilian Body wave in 22, 20, 18 and 16 inches. And then used an 8 inches closure because my real hair is natural and certainly wouldn't blend well with the Brazilian hair.

I Love this Hair!
I did a video of the hair on me, in motion and said most of everything I have to say about the hair in the video, so just feast on these pictures below and then, watch the video which is at the bottom of this post.

I did my makeup to look Christmas-y and I love my "santa-hat".

Ideal Hair Art delivered the hair in great timing and I LOVE THIS HAIR so very much. The closure blended in well with the hair and I did a complete sew-in. NO glue used.

Makeup done with BH Cosmetics 120 Palette (1st Edition).

So much smiling!

I love Christmas because Jesus is the reason for the season!

P.S:
IDEAL HAIR ARTS have been kind enough  to give my readers a little discount if you email them at Sales15@020hair.com and mention "TheDIYLady" before you finalize your order.

Thanks for visiting y'all.
I Pray you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
If I get time to do my nails for Christmas, I'll certainly blog about it. :-D

In the mean time.. here's a nail shot with my goofy Christmas-y face!

Take care!
Till Later, God Bless.

Wheelchair Fashion: Thrift Store Finds - Black, Yellow and Gold OOTD

Good day loved ones.
Delighted to have you on the blog today.
Grab a cup'o tea will ya?

LOL.. Ok, I know I'm full of it. Lol..
I have another wheelchair fashion post on the blog! Yaaassss!
This was the outfit I wore to church yesterday.

Black and Yellow and Gold!
Based on the title of this post, can you guess what I bought at the thrift store?

You know, there was a time in my life when I would nearly GAG at the thought of wearing anything "Gold colored". I was just anti-gold accessories and whatever looked gold.
BUT now, My closet has certainly gotten a face lift! I find myself being drawn to golds and I must say I like how they look against my skin tone. What do you think?

Makeup was minimal. So minimal in fact, I will tell you I only have my Bella Terra Powder on and my eyebrows were tamed a bit. . I felt like my outfit was loud enough and didn't need extra stuffs going on with my face.

 Talking in between pictures. lol...

The yellow skirt kind of freaked my camera out a bit. BUT I Love this skirt. the fit, the length, and the color! Just perfect!

Happy Selfie!

Boooo yahhh

Up close of the necklace, bangles and watch.

Tired of pictures? Be Glad I didn't post them all. lol...

And that's it y'all. :-)

And uhmmm... skirt and top was thrifted! Did you guess right?
Combined price? Less than $10.

Remember I told y'all about my adventure at the thrift store. I certainly will be visiting again.

Alright darlings.
Thanks for visiting.

Wheelchair Fashion: Wedding Guest OOTD/LOTD

Hello Hello..
How are you all doing today?!
It's Saturday!!!

Today's post is one of the fastest posts I have actually ever edited and blogged about. lol..
I guess I just love what I am about to post so much that I created time to make sure I blogged about it ASAP.
Anyhoo, yesterday, the wonderful boyfriend and I went to one of his friends (now our friend)'s wedding.
It was a beautiful wedding and the food was beyond AMAZING!
Today's post is of my FOTD/OOTD and the whole nine.

So yay for another edition of Wheelchair fashion on the blog.
Wheelchair fashion is a segment I wish I could do so much more often than I do, but I hope you guys enjoy them even though they aren't always frequent.

First up.. here's my face of the day...

And I accessorized with this gorgeous necklace and Stacked army candy/bracelets and a black clutch/purse. As you all know, my nails are also an accessory so I painted them to kinda sorta match me. All polishes used are Zoya.
Oh and of course, lets not forget my most important accessory, my SMILE. Lol

Here's what my full outfit looked like.
Long dresses are a blessing when it comes to wheelchairs. One doesn't have to worry about accidentally flashing people (as the case may be when in short dresses). Although, I almost always wear tights with short dresses.

I have been wanting a long flowing gown/dress for the longest time and the moment I saw this in the store, I knew it belonged to me. :-D I have so many long dresses, but most of them are just playful and not so wedding appropriate
This one however, I knew I could dress up and wear to a wedding so I grabbed it as fast as my hands could. They are so long that my shoes barely showed throughout the day. Lol.. I had to be careful not to roll over my dress.

Interesting fact:
My outfit kinda sorta matched the wedding colors. I was like.. Ah! Totally not planned.

My hair was giving me LIFE!!
I am in loooooove! I am also taking forever to edit the video review of this hair but I will be a good girl this upcoming week and GET IT UPLOADED.

My dad mentioned that my dress had a "bollywood" feel to it. And I must agree it does now that I look at it again. LOL.. I guess all those Bollywood movies I watch that now inspire my wardrobe.
Another interesting fact: I LOVE BOLLYWOOD MOVIES!

I had so much fun with the boyfriend at the wedding and I wish the couple a wonderful life together filled with Happiness and God's Blessings.

SO much fun that I uhmmm... even tried my first cuban Cigar...

Ok Ok.. Just Kidding!!!!
I Only posed for a picture with the cigar at the wedding. Lol..

I'd like to THANK my awesome boyfriend for taking this fabulous pictures of me.
Actually HE TOOK a whole lot more than these, but Y'all know the drill.. You take a thousand pictures, and post only 4 out of the bunch. LOL..

I really thank him for being so kind and patient that he indulges me in my photo requests whenever I get dolled up. He loved my dress too though, so I actually didn't have to beg for these pictures to be taken. haha...

Alright sugars. That's it for now. :-D
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and if you're Christmas Shopping, have fun doing that!

Till later, God Bless.

Monday Blues: Cult Nails - Manipulative

Hello lovers!

Happy Monday!
Anyone feeling cold wherever you are today?
If you said No, all I have to say to you is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Lol...

Because it's cold here!!! They lied to me about Texas. Lol... I say this every year btw.
But Yes, it's cold here, and as you guys know, me naaah like cold!!!!

Anyhoo, I have been growing my nails a bit longer than I usually wear them (as I've shared with y'all on Instagram and facebook), and one of the colors I was drawn to wear on my new length of nails was this pretty soft blue nail Polish by Cult Nails called Manipulative ..... just as I was manipulated by everyone who told me Texas weather is the best and it stays HOT here.
LIES, I tell you, LIES!!

Ok, forgive me for going back to the cold weather.
Manipulative is such a pretty blue, and I'm so glad I finally had time to blog about it with swatches that make me happy!

Swatches in this post are 3 thin coats.

I did so many hand poses in my pictures for this post. Lol...

I'm not used to holding polish bottles with nails as long as I currently have.. so I was trying different things. The longer nails hindered my regular polish holding style.

But I managed to still get some polish holding shots. :-D

This is quite possibly my fave picture below.

Oh but I kind of like this picture below too.
(note the thumb?), It got done because I wore this mani for about an entire week. GOOD wear time!! Minimal tip wear, and the fingers I didn't mess with had no chips. (I mess with polish on my nails after 3 days, I always itch to change color)

And a final look at this gorgeous blue!

I love this polish! I'm so glad I got to wear it again after such a long time!
Cult Nails can be purchased at www.cultnails.com

Well, that's it for now loves.
Hope y'all stay warm if it cold wherever you are.

Till Later, God Bless. :-)

Sinful Colors - Blue By You & Nail Art

Hello Loves.

Hope your day is going well?
This post is one of those ones I debated before blogging about.

I have shown the nail art in here in this post, and I've also blogged about Blue By You, BUT I loved both of them together so much that I decided I should blog about this.

Sinful Colors - Blue by You is one of my current favorite blue nail polishes.
It's on my ring finger and pinky.

The nail art was done with all Zoya Polishes, and I started with a base of Raven, then I layered Mosheen over it, and I stamped the stripes on top using Zoya Purity.

If you don't already own Blue By You, I suggest you run to grab it! It's so beautiful in person.

P.S: Speaking of Zoya, are you aware that they are currently running their FLASHPROMOS?

The flash promos kinda helped me build the amazing Zoya Polish Collections I have. I know it can be nerve wracking stalking Zoya on all of their social media pages, BUT I tell you, the joy that comes from snagging a complete FREEBIE or a Great Deal is certainly worth it.

Make sure you're following Zoya to stay update:  Facebook | Twitter | Live | Blog | Instagram | Website

That's it for now sugars.
Till Later, God Bless.
