How's everyone doing today?
All around me, I hear people talking about how excited they are that it's almost Fall Season, and I'm just like.... uhmm... NO!
BUT, I am excited about the fall collections and fashion, just not the cold that is bound to come with the fall season.
Speaking of fall collections, on the blog today is Zoya's Fall 2013 - The Satin Collection!
Lots of metallic goodness. I am glad that Zoya created some bold colors in this collection. Fall colors don't have to be boring.
Here's a Collage for you all.
ALL SWATCHES ARE WITHOUT TOPCOAT TO SHOW THE POLISHES IN THEIR NATURAL STATE.
First up is Zoya - Claudine.
Simple gunmetal black polish. This was opaque in one coat and I love that about it.
I generally like that polishes this shade have something extra going for them, like glitter or holo, but Claudine gets a pass because of it's metallic frostiness.
Next up is a sort of glitter topcoat called Maria Luisa.
It has gold flakes in it and I used it over Claudine below.
Maria Luisa is lovely as an accent nail...
Next up is Giovanna.
This is pure perfection to me! Looking at the collage I made above, y'all know my absolute favorite polishes in a collection are usually in the big boxes.
Giovanna is certainly a beautiful teal polish. The green in it shows a bit more in person. I love the metallic look and application was wonderful!
Next up is Neve.
Hello September babies! Did Y'all know your birthstone is Sapphire?
Neve is a perfect color!! Beautiful Sapphire color that looks like jewelry on your nail.
Next up is Channing.
I had a friend I always called Cha-Cha-Cha-Channing!!! lol...
This color amazing reminds me of her, and this is one of my favorites in this collection. Such a fiery bold and sassy color!
Oh yes I'll be wearing this color A LOT!
Next up is Mason.
Red tone purple shimmer polish with some blue shimmers in it.
Although this polish has a lot going on with it, I am not WOWED by it, and that makes the purple lover in me a bit sad.
Zoya did amazing as always with their formula and the colors in this collection are a good transition from summer to fall. I love that they didn't completely ZAP out bright colors for the satin collection.
