Easy French Tip Mani: Zoya - Thandie and China Glaze - Electrify

Hello Sugars!!!

Summer is right around the corner y'all! Whoo hoo. I've enjoyed reading what you all love about summer in my Butter London Giveaway post - which you need to enter if you haven't already
A lot of you are so much like me!! LOVE it. I too enjoy the heat, the picnics, the colors, and yes, all the fun things.

That's what kind of brought about my mani for today.
When it's summer time, I enjoy bright and easy manis. :-D
My go-to easy mani is a french tip. But not with a white tip, I love doing tips in different colors.
Today, I chose Zoya - Thandie from their summer collection.

So easy to get this look. All I used for a duct tape to get the line straight for the tips. I covered the bottom part of my nails with Duct tape and painted the tips with Thandie, then I quickly took out the tapes.
After that, I applied a top coat and Voila!

Since I love doing the most sometimes, lol.. I whipped out China Glaze - electrify and used the brush to dab some glitter on top of thandie. No tape was used for this... I just brush glitters over the tips only. :-)

I loved this so much!!

This mani lasted so long on my nails and I loved how bright and simple it was.

That's it for now dearies.
Do you all enjoy bright colors on your nails for summer?
Till Later, God Bless.

Swatches: Girly Bits - Vive la Revolution

Hello Sugars!

Today's mani is a revamp of the mani I showed y'all yesterday.
As I stated in that post, yesterday made it four days that I had the mani on, and I was seriously itching to take it off or switch it up.
Soo, after looking at my untried polishes, I saw a glitter I bought and wanted to use for the LONGEST time but never did use! It was Girly Bits - Vive la Revolution. I've had this for almost a year without ever using it.. *face palm*.
You can never go wrong with layering glitter over an old mani to give it a new look. :-D

Vive la Revolution is a glitter bomb!!!I truthfully believe that some glitters make everything look better and this is one of those glitters.

I wonder why it took me so long to wear this beauty from Girly bits.
I Love the layering over this pink from Sinful Shine. Called Royal Flush
Check out swatches of it alone HERE
I also left the glitter on my ring alone  (from the previous mani). I figured layering glitter over glitter was alright. Lol..

Do you guys also use glitter on old manis to revamp it ?
Share with me.
Till Later, God Bless.

Swatches and Review: Sinful Shine - Royal Flush & Sinful Colors - Watch it Shine

Hello Loves.
Happy new week. Hope y'all are dong well...
So, I want to believe most of you have heard about the new "Sinful Shine" Line, by Sinful Colors. Basically, they claim to have a gel polish shine/finish.
At first I was like.. Hmm, Is this a gimmick to bring out old polish from the Sinful Colors line?
Then I went to my local walgreens, saw the polishes from the new line and had to pick up a few.

What you see below is Sinful Shine - Royal Flush.
It was opaque in one coat, but I used two for good measure. I love that about it and I also love that it does have a brilliant shine to it.

The finish is really shiny, and I must mention, this was my past weekend mani. I did this on Thursday last week, and  it's still fresh - with just a little bit of tip wear. I'm itching to take it off, but I really want to see how long this will last on my nail. I Love testing out new "brands/polish claims".

Since I just can't leave 'good enough' alone, I whipped out a polish from Sinful Colors Diamond collection.
This is called - Watch it Shine.
When I bought it, I knew it'd be a great layering polish, but I wanted to try something else with it... and that is, picking out the glitter for NAIL ART!  Look?!

The process was really really easy. Sometimes, you don't have to buy loose single glitters if you have polishes with glitters in them.
What i did was, I dabbed a bit of Watch it shine on paper towel and used my dotting tool to pick up the diamond shaped glitters to place how I liked on my nails.

And the result is this! I didn't have to apply top coat on my nails before placing since the glitter had some polish on it from the bottle. Picking the glitter up with my dotting tool was also really easy.
I sealed the glitter on my nail with topcoat. Just on the accent nail.

And this is how my thumb looked. Watch it Shine over  Royal FLush. . Pretty uhn?

Well, that's it for now my loves.
I love the Sinful Shine polish especially for the shine and it has lasted me for about 4 days now, so that's a good thing right?

I have more polishes from this new line to showcase at a later date.
Did you guys pick up any polish from Sinful shine yet?
Share with me.
Till later, God Bless.

Look Of The Day: Blue Statement Necklace From Burlington

Hello Sugars!
On The blog today is a style post.
As you know, Once in a while I like to share pictures of what I wore and blah blah.

Anyhoo, the LOTD today is brought to you courtesy of a necklace I recently purchased from Burlington Coat Factory. Y'all know that's my Store! Lol.. I saw the necklace and was like GIVE ME!!!
I bought it and I was itching to wear it, so, this past Saturday  I put together a look, making sure NOT to take attention away from the necklace. Yes, I wanted the necklace to be the CENTER of attention. lol..

Though, since I love being matchy matchy... I went all out on my eye makeup, because I wanted colors that'll compliment the necklace. My nails also sort of matched the necklace.
Enough talking, lets get into pictures!

I am in love with this necklace. The color is just amazing to me!

And Here's my full Outfit. What better way to keep attention ON the necklace than in black? Yeppers!

And on my nails is Kleancolor - Blue Beach. Pretty color.

I chose to wear gold shoes and bracelet to pull everything together - since the necklace has some gold in it.

Big Kiss To You All!!!

Necklace/Earrings: Burlington Coat Factory. Quick Story: Original Price: $9.99. But I was given 20% off discount since the ring that held together one side of the bottom piece was disconnected from the whole set. Barely noticeable, but I pointed it out to get discount. Lol..
Eyeshadow: Colors from BH Cosmetics Party Girl Palette.
Shirt: Old can't remember where.
Flats: Payless (old)

That's it for now sugars. Till Later, God Bless. :-)

Colores De Carol - Blueberry Mango Sorbet Swatches + How I wore it

Hello Loves,
Today I have swatches of another Colores De Carol Polish called Blueberry Mango Sorbet for you all.

I have previously reviewed two other polishes by Colores De Carol called Carnation and Inner Princess, and those two were milky/white based, so I was excited to review this one that isn't.

Blueberry Mango Sorbet is a Brown/taupe base glitter polish that has red and blue glitters in it. I love the red square shaped glitters so much.

What you see here is 3 thin coats. Two was enough but I added a 3rd for good measure. Then topcoat,
I am not a huge fan of "Nude" polishes, so I was bit unpleased with this at first, but then it grew on me and enjoy it because it has colorful glitters in it! Certainly a nude I don't mind wearing now. Lol

Since I did a little bit of something funky with the other two CDC polishes I swatched, I decided not to leave this one hanging, so I did what you see below.

With Zoya - Rocky from their summer 2013 stunning collection. And then I added some nail art thingies I think I won in a giveaway or was given by one of the lovely ladies I've made friends with in this nail world. :-)
Either way, I loved my end result. The Blue that is Rocky  totally compliments the blue in Blueberry Mango Sorbet and I couldn't be happier!!

That's it for now sugars.
