Swatches, Review and Nail Art: Zoya - PixieDust Collection

 Hello Darlings...
Hope y'all are doing mighyt fine on this day?

This DIYLady is back today with Swatches of Zoya Pixie Dust Collection!!!
This collection had me all "ooohhh and Ahhhhhh" the moment I had the first polish on my nails.

Here's a collage for you.

Since this post is Very packed with pictures, Please Click Read More below for swatches, my thoughts, and the nail art I did with two polishes from this collection.

Alrighty sugars!
Zoya's Pixie Dust collection comes with 6 polishes that dry in a sparkly matte, textured finish.
I actually wore One of them for a while just to try out this new "textured polish" so I'd have a great comprehensive review (Yes, I love you guys that much...Lol).
Anyhoo, The polish I wore for a week was Zoya - Chyna and it wore like IRON for 5 days. No basecoat, No Topcoat, no chipping!!!
Now, the part I know you're ready to get to.. Swatches.

Note: All Swatches are 3 thin coats. Shown without topcoat and I'll specify on the pictures with topcoat.

First up is Zoya - NYX
This is a soft blue with silver sparkles of glitter.

Check out this blurry picture of NYX without topcoat! Yes, the sparkles really show In Real Life.

Below with Topcoat.

Next is Zoya - London.
This is gray. And I love that the gray doesn't make my hand look dead. I think the shine and real life texture really comes through in the picture, and I couldn't be happier with the picture!

Yes, She's London and she's beautiful!!! Remember her name darlings!!!

Below, London with Topcoat.

Next is Zoya - Daliah.
I won't say anything Yet. You just Look at this next picture...

Now, I'll say something about Daliah... OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! !>>!>!<<>????!? What is this Made of Zoya?? Can I make a bunch of other things with it???

I Took several pictures of Daliah, so here you go.. YES!! She's a beauty. Look at this blurry unfocused picture. Really shows ya the sparkles don't it?

*sighs*... I am just so in Love... So so in Love with this!

Look again??

Now, Daliah with Topcoat.
Dahliah is so beautiful on her own, but her dark side really comes to LIFE when you apply topcoat on her.

See how it got a bit darker? The black is more pronounced with topcoat.

I'd like to mention right now, that Daliah is the one I didn't even think I'd like when I Got these! BUT I am in LOVE. Y'all Know by now how I love black polishes that pack a punch of something extra... Like a bunch of Sparkles!!!

I Was really excited with my hand positioning too. Lol.. Showing you the polish from every angle. ;-)
Did I mention I do these things because I love you all? Hahaha...

Next up is Godiva
Nude, Sparkly, My kind of palette cleanser. Mannequin nails you say?

When a neutral polish looks this good, There really isn't much else one needs from this pixie dust collection!

How about some Bottom bottle action? Lol.. Say her name, Say Her name... It's Godiva Y'all!!!!

Below, Godiva with topcoat.
Yeah, I went extra funky with the hand pose because I wanted to show you my "Mannequin" looking hands. lol

And now, we have Zoya - Vespa.
This is a soft green, and yes it sparkles too.

Below is Vespa with Topcoat.
 Still a beauty.

And last but certainly not the least.
Zoya - Chyna

Instant LOVE. Yep, Chyna was the first polish I tried on. The one I wore for 5 days straight and didn't get a chip on. Very minimal tip wear, but no chip!

My notice that my middle finger was sort of Mid-drying here, so you can see some gloss on it.

And put on your glasses if you have one.. things are about to get blurry here. Lol..

And for the picture with topcoat, here I actually did a two nails thingy...
As I stated earlier, this was the mani I wore for the "trial" of what the textured polishes were like. Both the gloss and natural state of the polish didn't chip for 5 days straight and I believe they would have lasted longer if I wanted them to.
Since I wore this polish for a while, I can also review on removal process.
Very very unlike what I imagined. Granted, I imagined the worst, but removal of these Pixie dust polishes was so easy that I couldn't believe it.
I saturated my cotton balls (cut into smaller piece) with polish remover, Placed the saturated cotton balls on each finger nail, and waited about 1 minute, then I apply little bit of pressure, and the textured polish came off easy!

I Like all of these in their natural Matte/sparkly finish, but I am not shy to say I will certainly be rocking them with topcoats too, especially Daliah and Chyna!!

Totally pleasantly pleased with these polishes!!!

Nail Art
As if this post is NOT packed enough, I had a crazy idea to do some nail art stamping while swatching the polishes in this collection. Lol..
I swatched Godiva and thought, Oh, I have To do sonething with this!!!
Result Below.

I chose to use an image from stamping plate m64 from BornPrettyStore.
I wanted a laser effect without all the hassle of a "tape mani"

And YES, I used Zoya - Chyna to stamp on Godiva.
I was totally STUNNED to see that it stamped!!! Well, most of the texture-ness of it didn't transfer BUT I still LOVE that it stamped and some of the textured transferred from the stamp plate.

What do you think?

You Like?
Anyhoo..
This is the end y'all...

I hope I covered all the basis in my review, and I absolutely HOPE that Zoya makes more pixie dust polishes In more fun and bright colors. I think they're planning some more bright colors.. Oh My... "Be Still My heart"!!

  4. Chyna is my favourite beauty of the bunch - I seriously need that in my stash.
I was surprised that they called one of them "NYX", since that's also a polish/makeup brand. :)
