Swatches and Review: Zoya Ornate Collection

Hello Darlings...
Today I have my swatches and review of Zoya's Ornate Collection for the 2012 Holiday Season.
I bet you've seen many swatches already, but One Simply does NOT get tired of seeing swatches of the Ornate Collection. ;-)
This collection came with 6 beautiful polishes. Three of which are long awaited Holographic polishes by Zoya, and 3 other pretty and fun colors that one can wear all year round, not just during the holiday season.

Here's a collage of all the Six Polishes in this collection...

Please click "Read More" below to view the rest.

In Order of Appearance on my Collage, I'll start with Electra.
This is a bar glitter bomb. It can be used as a glitter top coat, but when built careful, it gets opaque on its own as shown below.
I Liked it better on its own than I did when I used it as a topcoat. Lots of sparkles, and it reminds me of new years eve disco ball lights.

Next up is Ziv. This a gold foil and it was opaque in two careful coats.
Metallic Golds like this are perfect for stamping if you're into that. This also has some shimmer in it that makes it a gold I actually like.

Next is Blaze.
Can somebody say "Hello Lover" in the voice of Carrie Bradshaw! Lol...(Sex and the city reference here).
This was an instant LOVE at first sight. ZOYA finally heard my cry!!
A gorgeous red Holo Nail polish. I LOVE this. I couldn't get enough of it on my nails. Just perfection. Looks great in every kind of light it's under.

Next is Storm.
If you know me, You know I'm not a fan of Plain black nail polishes. I Love my black polish to have some *POW POW* in them. And Boyyyyy, does Storm have some pow pow and then some? Lol..
Under regular light, it looks like there are silver sparkles in it... shown below...
Under flash and multicolored lights, all of the beautiful multicolored holographic goodness in this comes to life.
Can somebody say Christmas lights?? I'm In Love!

Next up is Logan. Hunter Green Metallic polish.
I love this because it's my Alma Mater's color.
The extra shimmers of gold in it of course also make me like this a whole lot more than I normally would have. It's application was flawless as was most of the polishes in this collection.

And last but certainly NOT the least, We have my ultimate favorite in this collection, called Aurora.
Purple, holographic mega goodness!!
This makes me say, THANK YOU ZOYA, Once again.
Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love any other polish as much as I loved Blaze and Storm... Aurora comes along!

Darlings, This collection in its entirety made this Do It Yourself Lady happy!
My favorites are of course all the three holographic polishes. But I also very much (to my surprise) love the Green and the Gold polish. The only one I could do without would be Electra.

Love any of these?
You can get these Polishes and lots more for $8 each on Zoya's Website or at your local ULTA stores.
