Review: Cynthia Rowley - Tweezerman Tweezer and Nail File

Hello dearies..

A while back I reviewed some tweezerman goodies, and I loved them all so much that when I got these two products from them again, I was interested in seeing if they still hold the same quality.

Happily when I tried them, they still did!
Cynthia Rowley Partnered up with Tweezerman to make some beautiful products that can all be found HERE on the tweezerman website.

Here are both products.

Here's the tweezer alone.

The tip for your eyebrow grooming is sharp enough to pluck out the hair from the root, and not cut them halfway. I loved that about the other tweezerman tweezer I own.

The Nail File also does its job perfectly well. It doesn't file hard.

In case you didn't notice, These come in SUPER CUTE colors and I LOVE that about them!!!
So cute!!

I used the tweezer for my eyebrow here.. sorry I don't have a before picture... Was in a hurry to go out on Thanksgiving... But believe me, the tweezer is amazing, just like the one I got before (CLICK HERE to view a before and after of my eyebrows using my old tweezer).

If you're interested in either of these....
This Tweezer can be found HERE.
The Nail File can be Found HERE.

That's it for now sugars.
Till Later, God Bless.

These were sent for review. Opinions are 100% mine.

Swatches: Bourjois Minis - 91, 88, 94

Hello Sugars!

Happy Wednesday to you all..

Today I have 3 minis to show you all. They are my first from this brand, and they were sent to me by a lovely lady in my birthday group.
I used these as underwear in some swatches, and I want to show them to you alone first.

Without further ado, here we go...
They don't have names, just numbers.

Bourjois 88
This is a blue. It has some subtle silver shimmer in it.
Here you can see the shimmer I mentioned.

Bourjois 94
This is BOLD. Beautiful Orange. I have about 4 oranges that are this bright, but SO FAR this has the BEST application. I'm so sad it's in a mini bottle. it applied flawlessly. No streaks,.

This next picture captures the true orange color best. I had to manipulate my camera's setting for this one.

Bourjois  91
Purple. Just how I like them... Flawless application as well.. and so glossy on its own.

All of these were without topcoat. 2 coats each.
They are beautiful and I truly love the application. I don't think I've seen them around, and I really wish they were easy to come by because they're so cute and apply VERY WELL.

Have you heard of this brand?
Share with me.
That's it for now darlings. Till Later, God Bless.

Weekend Mani - blogging from phone

Hello darlings. . Happy Saturday. ..
Right now I'm writing from my phone as I make a road trip.  I wanted to see if I could write a blog post from my phone for days when I can't access my computer and it looks like that is indeed a possibility! !!!

This is my weekend mani.  I took this picture with my phone as well. .

For this mani I used Entity Nail Enamel - Pearl purple and layered kleancolor - Holo chrome overt it.
Holo Chrome was the first polish I literally fell in love with.

That's it for now darlings.
Till later,  God bless.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hello Darlings!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone of you out there! Yes even those of you not in the U.S.A.

I am very very happy and THANKFUL that you're here reading this RIGHT NOW.
I am thankful for my family, friends, and loved ones. For everyone that is somehow a part of my life because I know everyone is in my life for a purpose.
I am so very thankful FOR GOD, because without him I'd be nothing. The peace, Joy and Laughter he has given me can only be because of his infinite mercies.
I am thankful for all the friends I've made as a result of blogging... I can't even express my gratitude and complete .... *sniffs*... LOVE for you all!

Alright.. enough of the mushy stuff.. :-D

For my Thanksgiving mani, I honestly didn't know what to do. So I decided to do some glitter layering with colors that looked like the Fall season.

I started off with 2 coats of Sinful Colors - Pandora.
This is a lovely cream with some subtle shimmer in it....

And After that got dry, I layered one coat of China Glaze - I herd That over it.

Look at all that shimmer and glitter....

I am certainly THANKFUL for POLISHES like THIS!

And that's it for my thanksgiving mani. I love the China Glaze polish so much.

Happy Thanksgiving once again everyone!!!
Y'all go easy and all the Turkeys out there... :-)

OOTD & Review of Firmoo Glasses

Howdy Peoples!!

The Cold is setting in and it's currently what I like to refer to as the Boot wearing season
I won't lie, this isn't my favorite season of the year, and I truthfully don't find it as appealing as a lot of people do.
The COLD messes with me too much!! Lol... I think my tolerance to cold got worse after the Spinal Cord Injury... so yeah, I totally don't like cold.
The only thing I like about the cold season is the FASHION. Being able to wear scarves, boots, nice jackets, e.t.c!!

Today's post is an OOTD (outfit of the day) and a review of the glasses I'm wearing in the above picture!
When Firmoo contacted me again to review one of their "Nerdy" sunglasses, I was ecstatic  I reviewed one of their sunglasses in THIS POST before, so I already knew they had quality glasses.
I made my choice and all I had to do was wait patiently to receive it.
When my glasses came, I was excited!!!

Here's everything that came in the package.
The Glasses, a pouch, plastic case, some screws and a lens cleaner.

The very fashionable nerdy glasses.

It's built strongly and the parts aren't shaky.

And now a mandatory photoshoot session... a.k.a PICTURE SPAM!!!

I am rocking my natural hair in these pictures, and I love how the glasses give me a "Retro Chic" Look.
Getting my Wheelchair Swag on...Lol...

Outfit Details:
Inner shirt and belt - Sold together at Ross
Cover up - Ross
Jeans - Burlington Coat Factory
Boots - Local Beauty Supply Store ($14.99)
Minimal Makeup and a dollar store jewelries.

And here's my attempt at making this post "Nail Polish Related"....
Check out my nails as I play with my Samsung Galaxy Note II... (An awesome phone).
A very thoughtful picture... :-D

Sally Beauty Supply: Mini Haul, Deal Alert, and Swatches of Sally Girl - Snowman Glitter

Hello Sugars.

The weekend is upon us, and all around me, I see Christmas decorations already.
Thanksgiving isn't even over yet.. Aye!!! I can never understand why stores and some houses do this. Lol... But I'm not complaining (much), because I LOVE Christmas since Christ is the reason for the season. :-)

Anyhoo, Yesterday, I went to Sally Beauty Supply to pick up Acetone and the China Glaze Holiday Set called "Holiday Charms".

Here are the goodies I got from Sally's.

A Quick Story before I continue. (Since I'm sure you can see more than Acetone and the Holiday Charms in my picture). LOL.

I had been in ULTA earlier during the day and I saw the Holiday Charms polishes in a set. They were in a 9.5ml bottle each, 4 Polishes. I asked the sales lady how much the set was, and she said $16.95. I Opened up my mouth and chose to call my Sally's to see if they have the set (Since I have a $10 off $20 Coupon), I figured it'd make more sense to buy at Sally's if they have it.
I Called the store, and the sales lady told me they had the set for .....wait... for.. it.... $8.99!!!

I Immediately ran out of ULTA. I couldn't believe they were selling it for almost double the price. Warraheck???

Fast Forward some hours later after spending an amazing evening with some friends, I went to Sallys (before closing time.. Lol), and I found the set! Picked it up, got some acetone, and THEN, I saw a deal I just didn't want to pass up on.

Here Goes the DEAL ALERT part of this post.

Sally's is currently having a Buy 3 Finger Paints nail Polishes ($3.99 each - reduced price), and get a FREE Purse of your choice in Pink or Black. I needed a small purse like the one they were offering - so that I can use it as my makeup bag that goes in my big hand bag - so I was like... OK! PLUS I Loved the colors of the finger paints polishes too, so I just HAD to steal the deal.

Alright.. Now more detailed pictures.. :-)

The Finger Paints Polishes and the FREE Purse (with three FP Purchase).
Polishes are: Finger Paints (Left to right) - Hollydazzle, Midnight Sleigh Ride, Elves bells.

And here's a detailed look of the purse. Gonna be a cute make up purse in my hand bag. I was using the freebie target beauty bag before, but this one is cuter and has a tiny bit more space for a little more makeup.
This purse is originally $8.99 by the way.

And Here's my China Glaze - Holiday Charms Set. I fell in Love with Glitter all the way when I saw swatches of it, so I was on the lookout for this set.
Left to right: Merry Berry, Red Satin, Winter Holly, and Glitter all the way. Swatches will be on the blog soon darlings.

Next up is a Sally Girl Polish that ... that... that... is just too cute! Lol..
It's Red, and in a snow man Bottle... The name is glitter, and it was $1.79.

I Immediately wanted this polish to be used for my weekend mani, so YOU GET To see Swatches! YAY!!!

Application was lovely with this. It got opaque in two coats, and the only polish I have that's close to it is Zoya - Delilah (which doesn't get opaque in two coats). SO I'm happy with this little polish here.

The little flecks and shimmer in it are so cute!! It transfers from the bottle to the nails, so YES for that!!
Look at this blurry picture...

Welllll.... That's it for now darlings.
Remember, if you're going to Sally Beauty Supply, USE THE November $10 Off $20 Purchase Coupon Code.
I show the ladies the picture on my phone, so I don't even have to print it out.
I don't know how long the purse deal with 3 Finger Paints Polish will last, so you might wanna hurry if you're interested. :-)

I Can never get enough acetone, so yay!
P.S: I gotta make a post about how I mix acetone with glycerin and water to use as my polish remover. :-)

Until Next time, Have a wonderful weekend.
God Bless.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer - Denim Dash

Hello Darlings...
Today is a really Chilled and relaxed day for me. I'm glad for resting days like this...

I have swatches of Maybelline - Color Show Nail Lacquer called Denim Dash for you guys.
This is the second Maybelline polish I picked up at WalMart. I posted about the first one HERE

Denim Dash  is a Matte Suede finish. It looks like.. Yep, Denim Jeans. Lol...

Application was AMAZING!!! I almost thought every Maybelline Polish was crap after my experience with the glitter bomb called Sapphire Masquerade. But THIS one, this one had AMAZING application. It was opaque in one coat but I did two for good measure.

I wanted to see what the beauty looks like glossy, so I added a topcoat.

I have to say, I like it better in its original form. The Matte Suede... Jeans look is so much better.

I really am so glad that not all Maybelline Polishes have bad application. I Guess they just need to work on making glitter polishes...

Bottle shots of this beauty.

Anyhoo, that's it for now darlings.
Till Later, God Bless.
