Swatches and Review: Zoya Fall Collections - Designer, Diva and Gloss

Hello Darlings,

I'm doing things a bit different around here today. I have all of Zoya's Fall Collection in ONE post!!!
For this Fall, Zoya has 3 Collections! 2 collections have 6 polishes each, and 1 collection has 3 polishes.

I chose to put all the swatches under one post because having everything under one posts might help those of you who are planning to buy some of these narrow down your options quickly. :-)

These collections can be seen below.
Top to bottom: Gloss Collection (Jellies), Diva collection (Creams), and Designer Collection (Metallic).

After looking at that picture above, do You really need swatches?? lol... Bottle Shots are soo beautiful on their own already!

Anyhoo, since this post is pretty much a picture spam, if you'd like to see swatches and read the reviews, please click "read more" below.

The Alphabet Challenge

Hello Dearies.

Today I have an interesting post for you guys!

I am taking part in an awesome nail polish challenge called: The Alphabet Challenge.
Gosia from Colorful Crack kinda started the whole thing, and I was so excited to be a part.
BUT, when I actually sat down to find polishes, I was so lost and time wasn't on my side. I almost wanted to back out from the challenge, but I got the push I needed and chose to follow through. :-D

There's a two weeks window to complete the challenges, so I was willing to work with that.

Anyhoo, Today I have my first 3 alphabets all in one post!! how exciting eh? The challenge allows us to do that!!!

I have Alphabets A, B, and C.

A is Deborah Lippmann's Across the universe
B is Kleancolor's Black
C is a nameless polish by L.A Color and I chose to name it Color me glitter. (YES, the challenge allows us to do this too!). :-) So exciting!

Anyhoo, For this mani, I started with KC - Black and Layered ATU over it. I didn't quite like the result, so I layered the L.A Color glitter on top. It looked much better to me. :-)
With this challenge, I am soo open to trying different things, especially with combining nail polishes!

That's it for now. Stay tuned for the rest of the alphabets my dearies.

Another cool thing about this challenge is that, we all get to "LINK" our posts together. So be sure to check out other fabulous blogs taking part in the challenge. :-D

Till Later, God bless.

Swatches and Review: Girly Bits - Purple Potion & Mother May I?

Howdy party people!

Happy Friday!

A while back, during one of Girly Bits restock/sale on her Big Cartel Store, I picked up some fabulous polishes of hers.
I am one for Hoarding every kind of Purple polish there is. So, the two polishes I'll show you today should come as NO surprise to you.

They are called Purple Potion, and Mother May I?

Let's begin with Purple Potion.
The name describes this the best. It's indeed a purple potion, mixed with scattered holographic goodness!
Lookie here.

I used 3 three thin coats for full opacity, and I LOVE that this didn't need an underwear color.

Look at the scattered holographic goodness I spoke of earlier. This polish is a sparkly goodness! And the beautiful-ness shines in just about every light.

Next up, we have Mother May I?
Interesting name eh? Lol...
This one is a Lilac purple color. Creamy and glitter-full.
Once again, I shall hoard all the purple polishes!!! Lol... I can't help myself!

This was opaque in 2 coats, and I am pretty impressed with the subtle yet glittery look of it. The look is feminine yet powerful. The glitters are very well embedded in the creamy base. The bottle required a bit of some shaking for the glitters to mix evenly, but it was nothing too drastic.

I Love both of these polishes and they are very well appreciated in my collection.
Girly Bits is one of the Indie sellers I have heard good things about from just about everyone. Lovely customer service is very well appreciated nowadays, and I've had good experience with the creator of Girly Bits - Pam.

The smell of her polishes aren't offensive, and that's something I ALWAYS try to make sure I review when I'm talking about Indie polishes.

These polishes and more by Girly Bits can be found in her Store by Clicking HERE, or on Llarowe's Website.
Check out her Facebook Page Here.

Well, That's it for now sugars.
Is there a particular color of polish you tend to "hoard" like me? Lol...
What do you think of these two polishes?
Share with me dearies.

Till Later, God bless.

Swatches and Review: Enchanted Polish - Dizzy Mizz Lizzy

Sup Blessed peoples.

On the blog today is my first Enchanted Polish.
This is called Dizzy Mizz Lizzy.

I Obviously got this polish because of the name. Lol... A Polish with Lizzy in it? Hecks yeah!!!
I mentioned on my facebook page a while back that I would love to own a polish with my name in it. I've seen many Elizabeth's but rarely do I see Lizzy.
And the ones I've seen really didn't jump out at me. But when a lovely lady called Tempest brought it to my knowledge that Enchanted polish had a polish called Lizzy, I checked it out, saw that it was reddish and fell in love! Oh My! It's like Enchanted Polish Creator knows me!!!

I love purple, and it's probably my favorite color because I have so many things in purple. But If you ask me what My favorite color is, I Automatically say RED! lol... I love Red!!! It looks lovely on me!

Anyhoo, let's get to swatches sugars!

For this mani, I chose to use Layer One coat of Dizzy Mizz Lizzy over Every Beauty Boutique - Like Fire

As you can see here, this polish isn't just a glitter polish. It has some holographic goodness in it too. Some spectraflair action going on in there! I'm truly IN LOVE!!

It looks gorgeous against my skin tone, and It has MY NAME!! WIN WIN WIN WIN!!!

Since I Love doing a detailed review, I chose to see what the polish was like on its own.
This next picture shows 1 coat of DML on its own, and then 3 coats.
It's a lot more opaque with 3 coats but 2 coats should suffice.

Again, I LOVE the glitter, I Love the holo, I love the color, and I LOVE the Name!!!

Very beautiful Polish.

I bought this polish from Llarowe's website

What do you think?
Do you own any polish that has your name?
Have you ever bought a polish because of its name?
Share with me sugars.

Till Later, God Bless.

Swatches: Naild'It - Grapevine

Hello Dearies.

I've got swatches of Naild'It - Grapevine  for y'all today.
I chose to layer this polish over Two Beautiful Zoya polishes I showed y'all yesterday - Mimi and Kendal.

Not much talking is needed, so here we go!

First up, Here is Grapevine over Zoya - Kendal.

The Glitters in this polish are seriously on steroids. lol... Like a BOMB. Shattered, chunky, bars, small, beautiful!
Naild'It did well!

Then I chose to layer Grapevine over Zoya - Mimi.

I must say, this combo is lovely especially because it shows off the white glitters a lot more, BUT I love Grapevine more over Kendal because it shows off all the glitter in Grapevine.

And Of course, here's a swatch of Grapevine on its own. So pretty!

Grapevine is a unique polish that Naild'It created for the purpose of my giveaway. She made only a limited quantity, so I can't guarantee availability in Her Etsy Shop, but I must say, if you love what you see, Go ahead and enter my giveaway HERE for a chance to win it. :-)

Check out Naild'It on Facebook HERE.

That's  it for now.
Till later, God Bless.

Swatches: Zoya Mimi and Kendal

Happy Monday darlings.

Today, I've got swatches of two beautiful Zoya polishes I used as bases for a polish I'll show you later.

First up is Zoya - Mimi
It's purple, so that's an automatic WIN in my book. Very shiny, shimmery and has sort of a metallic feel to it.

Application was two coats, and covered very well. This polish will be good for stamping because it's almost opaque in one coat.

Next up is Zoya - Kendal
A very light purple, almost pastel purple. But It looks gray in some light. I love how neutral this looks.
Application was a bit tricky, but it got opaque in three thin coats. Make sure your first coat dries a bit before you apply the second coat.

That's it for now dearies.
Stay tuned for the layering I did with this two polishes. :-)

Till later, God Bless.

1000 Followers Giveaway: Event 4 - Indie Polishes

Hello Everybody!!!
Hope y'all are feeling fine!!

Yeppers sugars, It's EVENT FOUR, and I've got some Indie Polishes for you!!!

Indies are the Bizznesss when it comes to being a polishaholic nowadays. But due to the fact that most are either out of stock, expensive, have curling glitters, smell like toxic waste, have sinking glitters, dry over time, separate within days, are surrounded by so much drama, are.... uhmm do I need to go on? Lol..

Alright, where was I? Oh Yes, Indie Polishes! Indie polishes are all over the place right now, and it's always hard to figure out exactly which seller one should buy from because it seems every frankener wants to sell their creations nowadays.
I joined the Indie bandwagon some months back, and ever since then I've had some lovely experiences and I must say, there are so many beautiful polishes out there.

Here are the Polishes Two Lucky People will get to call theirs. :-)

A short story before I get to the rules of this giveaway:
For this giveaway, I contacted one of my ALL time favorite Indie seller - Naild'It. She sells her polishes on Etsy, and I absolutely LOVE every polish I own by her. The glitters in her polishes flow. I put them in the same spot and they never sink while at rest. The smell isn't toxic, and application is always a breeze.

When I contacted her about my giveaway, I was expecting to get one of the polishes in her store for the giveaway, but to my greatest surprise, she said she would make a "custom shade" for this giveaway. I was dumbfounded and I couldn't speak. She asked me what my favorite color was and I told her it's PURPLE! I mean, look around my blog. Isn't it obvious? lol...

She told me to give her a couple of days, and she assured me she knew exactly what she would make for this giveaway.
I trusted her because I love every polish she's ever made :-D
When she got done, she sent me pictures of her finished work and I was HAPPY! So happy that I actually screamed. The polish was BEAUTIFUL! When I received the polish in the mail, I screamed EVEN louder! Look at what I mean. :-)

I have one for myself and one for this giveaway. I decided to swatch mine to show you EXACTLY how beautiful this polish is. The creator called it Grapevine!
Again, this is a limited edition/Unique polish. There are only a few around, so if you win this... you'll be one of the cool kids who own it. Hahaha

While the polish above was being created, Sonnetarium, another Indie store on etsy announced on her facebook page that her most sought after polish Samurai Princess will no longer be sold in a full sized bottle after her last restock!

I didn't think I'd be able to purchase one because these polishes GO FAST, but I tried my luck, and Got Sammurai princess! Click here for Swatches by The Nail Network.
As you can see, it's kind of a dupe of Connect the Dots by the Lady that shall remain nameless.
I've heard nothing but good things about Sonnetarium, and the glitters in the polish also do not sink.

I'm pleased that I can offer these two beautiful and quality polishes for this giveaway event.
Here they are again.
Left to right: Naild'It Unique Polish - Grapevine, Sonnetarium - Samurai Princess.

For this event, there will be TWO winners.

I like to give the first winner "free will", so the first person the rafflecopter widget chooses will get to pick which polish they want. The one they do not pick will go to the second winner.

Swatches and Review: Every Beauty Boutique Indie Polishes

Hello Peoples!!!

Over the past couple of days, I've posted 3 giveaways celebrating reaching 1000 followers on the blog. The giveaway event is not over, but I decided to pause and put up this post because I miss showing my nails. Lol... and I am honestly itching to share these beautiful polishes with you guys.

I'll be showing you three polishes by Every Beauty Boutique - an Indie Polish store on Etsy.

Here are the polishes.
Left to right: Like Fire, Let's Have Fun, She likes to party.

First up is Like Fire - It's coppery reddish-brown, and has some hidden shimmer in it that shines in different light.
Usually, when I think of Indie Polishes, my mind wanders to glitters! Chunky glitters, and rarely do I think of "regular" polishes.
Every Beauty Boutique - Like Fire

So I was pretty interested in what this particular polish would be like, application-wise.
I'm glad to announce that, this was a sweet two coater! The polish applied so easily and looked wonderful against my skin tone. I truly love it!

Here's a semi-blurry picture to show you the hidden shimmer I mentioned. Gorgeous-ness.

Next up, we have Let's Have Fun.
This is a glitter top-coat. It can be used over different colors.
Here I have it on bare nails to show you the glitters without a base color.
Every Beauty Boutique - Let's Have fun

And here I've topped it over Sinful Colors - Cinderella, and I made an accent nail with a black polish.
I love it over both colors.

Lastly, there's  She Likes to Party.
A pink glitter topcoat.

Again, here it is on bare nails.
Every Beauty Boutique - She likes to party

And here it is over Kleancolor - Black.

I LOVE IT OVER BLACK!!! Yes, I'm screaming!!

I couldn't bring myself to layer this over any other color because it looks magnificent over black!!! But since this is a review, I chose to layer it over blue, and I also like it! But I bet you all agree that it looks great over black, right? :-D

Overall thoughts?
I'm impressed with these three polishes by Every Beauty Boutique. The glitters float in their bases and were easy to apply.
The non glitter polish, called Like Fire is indeed a true beauty! The name couldn't be more appropriate and application was nice.
These polishes smell like regular nail polishes, and the smell isn't offensive.

If you're interested in either of these or want to check out many others by Every Beauty Boutique, Please CLICK HERE to go to the store on etsy.

That's it for now my loves. Till Later, God Bless.

These were sent for review. Opinions are 100% mine. Please read my disclosure policy here

Review: Sally Hansen Salon Effect Nail Strips, Fast dry TC and NYC Product

Today, I'll be reviewing some Sally Hansen and NYC Products!!

I am pretty excited about some of these, So Let's get to it!
This review is for Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Fast dry Topcoat, Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips, NYC Matte Top Coat - Matte Me Crazy, NYC Sparkle Topcoat - Big City Dazzle.

These are basic necessities for anyone who polishes their nails at home.

Here are the nail strips sent. There are LOADS of designs can be gotten.

First up, I shall review the Nail Strips.
Each box comes with everything You will need for "proper application".
The Nail Strips, a nail file, a cuticle pusher that also has a sharp (tooth pick end).

I really love the cuticle pusher! The Tooth pick end would be so perfect for water marbling.... but I digress. lol

There's also this sheet for Instructions on how to apply.

Very easy steps anyone can follow.
There are 8 strips in each set. Different sizes and shapes. You can choose to place the strips on your nail depending on your cuticle shape. Both ends can be used once you remover the adhesive covering.

Steps I took for application.
1. Decide which strip fits your nails, and place it aside.
2. Cut out the additional flap you see at the bottom of each strip.
3. Remove the Adhesive covering.
4. Place strip on your nails, starting from the cuticle upward.
5. Press firmly with your fingers so it adheres to your nails.
6. Once on your nail, use the hot pink part of the nail file to "file off any excess strips". File in a downward motion.
- The Nail file works really really well for this part.
7. After excess has been filed off, Press firmly once again or use cuticle pusher to push strips into cuticles/adjust well.
- Be VERY Careful here. I did this a bit too roughly and Cut through a nail strip, and then I had to start over with a different strip.
No top coat necessary except it makes you feel better to apply topcoat. Lol..

Final Result?? ?

I'd like to say, I'm very pleased with the result.

Application was very easy, and it took about 15 minutes to finish one hand - selection time included.

I would also like to mention, You can use these strips for an "accent nail"  in case you don't want to use it all on your nails ONE time. It's cute paired up with polishes.

Next, I'll be reviewing NYC Sparkle Topcoat - Big City Dazzle.
Pink, blue, purple micro glitters! Here I have layered One coat over Sally Hansen - Blue me Away.
I like how it looks, and it transforms my plain blue mani into something a bit more "wow". nails.

I used Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength Flash Fast Dry Top Coat over it.
This "Fast dry Topcoat" dried to touch in about 8-10 minutes. Which is longer than some topcoat I've used.
However, When it finally completely dried my nails were strong, and hard. Patience is required I guess. :-)

After My Fast dry top coat dried, I matte-fied my mani with NYC - Matte me Crazy

This one, I'm really excited about. It really is a Matte polish, and gives a good matte finish. I Love this mani more as a matte polish!! Ohhh weee.. So nice how embedded the glitters look.

I'll definitely be using the matte polish a lot!!!

Overall thoughts?
The Nail Strips are lovely for those days when you want lovely designs on your nails but aren't feeling artistic or for someone who doesn't have the skills to do all that.
I like how easy the application is, and the fact that each kit comes with everything you'll need for application.

Sally Hansen Diamond Fast dry Topcoat didn't WOW me because of the slow dry time. Yes, 10 minutes is slow to me, since I've used Topcoats that dry in about 2-5 minutes.
I do like the "finished" result though. It makes your nails hard and I believe that sealed your mani in more.

NYC - Big City Dazzle -  Well, hello?! Glitter!!! I LOVE It!!!

NYC - Matte me crazy- I'm really impressed! It works and dries relative quick. No complains here.

That's it for now sugars.
If you're a DIYLady like me, these are some basic necessities every "self polishing lady" needs for a fab mani.

If you're interested in any of these, Please Check out Sally Hansen on their website, facebook, or in your local stores that carry Sally Hansen/NYC products.

These were sent to me for review purposes. Opinions are 100% mine. Read my disclosure policy here.
