Review and Nail Art: MASH Stamping Plates (26-50)

Hello Pretty People...

I've got another exciting review for you guys today.
I am very impressed with the number of stamping plates that are being put out by companies.

I love nail art but I'm not the best at free hand nail art. Stamping plates have really helped me do more intricate designs and I've had people ask me if I have "Nail stickers" on my nails. I just smile and say, "Oh No, they are not stickers". Lol... Then of course, if they care to know more, I go into a speech about how stamping plates can help ANYONE get great nail art with even a minimum skill set. :-D
I love the look on people's face when I tell them or show them how stamping plates work. Hehehe...

Anyhooo.... Today, I'll be reviewing the new MASH Plates (Mash 26-50).

Since this will be a somewhat detailed review, Please click "Read More" below to enter the world of picture spam. :-D

The plates in this set come with the blue cover that most stamping plates have on them. Remember to remove this blue cover before using.

After I took out the blue covers on all of my plates, I separated them into just two plastic bags. I think putting each plate in one bag is a waste of plastic bags. lol...

MASH Logo and website address is written on the back of each plate.

The size of each Image is basically standard. A Tad bit bigger than the images on the Red Angel plates, but just about the same size as the images on the Bundle Monster (second set) Plates.
I had no problem using the images as you'll see in the Nail Art I did at the end of this post.

I then decided to test stamp some images on paper. They transferred well without problem.

Next we have UP CLOSE Look at the Plates that come in this set. :-)
There are so many cute images that I'm sure everyone would at least have something they want in here.

(Remember you can click on each Image to View them even bigger).

Now that I've shown you the plates, What are my overall thoughts?
I think MASH has done well with these. The Images will fit the standard sized nails, but if you have super long/wide nails, you might have to double stamp.
Above all, what I love most about these plates is THE price!! I don't know how long this price will last, but at $12.99, I don't think you can go wrong if you buy these.
The plates are of good quality. They stamp well and will help you create lovely designs on your nails. I see a couple of images I can't wait to use.

Speaking of Lovely designs, Here's the nail art I did with Plate 39.
I've always wanted to create Scale Nails (Mermaid-y type of nails), and WHEN I saw this Image on MASH39, I WAS Beyond Excited!!!!

For this mani, I used HITS - Apolo as My base color and stamped with Wet n Wild - Black Creme. Sealed it all with Color Club Topcoat (which didn't dim down the Holo in Apolo).
Fish Scales Nail Art, Mermaid Nails

Excuse the extra flash in the pictures, I needed to show you the HOLOGRAPHIC Goodness that is Apolo!! Which I swatched here before.

I am really happy with this mani, and it's what I'll be rocking this weekend. I Love it.
And as you can see, The Image filled my whole nail without the need for double stamping. :-)

That's it for now sugars. I'm staring at my nails and loving that I finally have mermaid nails.. or scales or whatever you wanna call them. Lol...

Till Later, God Bless.

    1. China Glaze Romantique collection polishes are AMAZING for stamping.

Basically, in General though, Any polish that gets opaque in ONE coat is fabulous for stamping.

SO if you have a polish that you think is "thick", it would be a good candidate for stamping.

Standard blacks I use: Kleancolor - Black, Wet n Wild - Black Creme.
Standard Whites: Kleancolor - White, Zoya - Purity.

Every other color, I just look through my stash and pick a polish that is opaque or almost opaque in one coat.

I hope that helps you Ashlee. :-)

    1. Since these were sent for review, I wouldn't know if the shipment time is the same as ones you buy.
