O.P.I - Skull and Glossbones Swatch

Hello ladies...
Glad to have you reading this today! It means a lot to me that you're here. :-)
I'd like to inform you all that my posts for the next couple of days will mostly be of the polishes from my Christmas gifts/Haul.

Today's swatch is of O.P.I's Skull and Glossbones. It's from the Pirate of the Carribean Collection - May 2011, and this is the first OPI polish I have ever worn on my nails.
Side Note: Can I just say how much I love the placement of my fingers in this picture? Lol.. Gah, Gotta practice more. Maybe I can get it like this all the time?
O.P.I Skull and Glossbones

Colors like this makes me worry because they usually are streaky or hard to become opaque, but this one was surprisingly really easy to apply and got opaque in two coats. I love the brush in the OPI polish, and I totally now understand why people say they love the brushes in OPI.

After staring at the pretty polish for a while, I decided to stamp on her using my new Red Angel plates. I Chose a design on RA plate 112, using China Glaze - Delight as my stamping polish, and topped it all with Seche Vite. Pretty glad with the turn out.

Anyhoo, here's a short story before I end this post:
I usually pride myself on not having two colors that are "really close to each other" in my stash and while I was shopping for polishes the day I got this polish, I thought to myself "I don't own a color like this". Boy was I wrong! I found out while I was editing these pictures that the color looks an awful lot like something I'd seen before. Then I had an epiphany! Skull and Glossbones looks like Color Club's Nomadic in Nude. I believe however that there has to be a difference in both polishes because I don't remember thinking Nomadic in Nude was anything special. Skull and Glossbones however, I LIKE! I thought of doing a side by side comparison, but since I've swatched  Nomadic in Nude before, you can click Here to view her. If you still would like me to do a side by side comparison, please let me know. :-)

Well, that's it for now Ladies. I have my review of the Red Angel Plates coming up soon, so stay tuned for that. :-)
Till Later, God Bless.
