How are y'all doing on this fine day. Is it just me or did this week move quick? I am like what?! It's Friday?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Anyhoo, in the month of December, I decided to try out the Julep Maven program.
The Julep Maven program is a monthly subscription where nail polish lovers take a "profile quiz" to determine what their taste in nail polish/nail care product is. After taking this quiz, you're given a profile and every month, you get a package from Julep.
Last month, there was a "try your first box of Julep for $0.01 cents", and I just couldn't pass it up because: it was so cheap, and I'd always wanted to try the Julep polishes.
After taking the quiz online, Julep said I was a "It Girl", and they sent me 4 nail polishes
Here we have: (Left to right) Hayden, Megan, Leah, Nail Therapy (which is a base coat/hardener) and a Polish remover pad.
Here's the box.
.
With the Julep Maven program, you can choose to skip months and you won't get charged. Here's a statement from Julep's website: To avoid being charged, you can login to your account between the 20th and 25th to Skip the Month. If you wish to cancel, you must do so by the 25th at midnight (PST) to avoid being charged on the 27th.
You can try your first Julep Box for $5 by using the code: MAVEN5
There are many other coupon codes you can find on HERE that are worth trying, so knock yourself out and get those discounts.
I have a referral link on Julep, and would appreciate it if you click my link if/when you want to try the Julep program. Here's My Link. I would really really appreciate it because Julep has some bonus for me if I refer people. See, I told you the truth, so reward me by clicking my link. Lol..
I will be skipping lots and lots of months, because I am not really big on subscriptions. If I do however have so much money that I want to spoil myself, I will get my box for the month. Oh and don't worry, I got an alarm set for the 20th - 25th of each month. Lol. "Must Not Get Charged"!
I like these polishes that were sent to me though, and that's why I won't flat out cancel my subscription.
Alrighty then, enough with the talking.
Here's Julep's Leah (no topcoat in all pictures)
Leah is another color that makes me so very very happy that summer is almost here! Ready for Spring Break before school even starts? You need this polish! Such a bright and fun color. I don't have anything like this in my stash, so I'm really happy with that.
Application was a breeze with this polish. It was opaque in two thick coats. But if you're one for thin coats, I'll suggest 3.
I love the "almost shimmer" you can see in this polish. It doesn't have a glossy finish, but that's what made it even more special for me. Summer can't get here soon enough!
Wheww, this is a long post! I shall be making another post with Megan and Hayden later, so please stay tuned ladies.
Also, I'd like to know, are you a Julep Maven? Do you own any Julep Polishes?
Thanks for reading, Till Later, God Bless.
I love that green! I just can't bring myself to jump on the Julep wagon yet!
